Connect Your Shop
After you log into eRank, you’ll land on the Dashboard—your hub for everything happening in your Etsy shop. It provides statistics on keyword trends as well as your listings, sales, and competitors. In addition, the right sidebar provides quick access to our blog, information on upcoming postal holidays, and more. Think of the Dashboard as your homepage on eRank.
We highly recommend that you connect your Etsy shop to eRank. Once connected, you’ll be able to view detailed stats about your listings, including visibility, tags, and keyword performance.

Begin Your Research
Begin your keyword journey with the Keyword Tool—a powerful feature that analyzes the top 100 listings for any keyword on a variety of different selling platforms. It helps you understand what shoppers are searching for, how they search, and how competitors are structuring their listings.
You can access the Keyword Tool in three (3) ways:
- Type any keyword into the “Enter Keywords” field at the top of the page and click the green lookup button on the right.
- Click the “Keyword Tool” button at the top of your dashboard.
- In the Main Menu, select “Keyword Research” > “Keyword Tool.”
After entering a keyword, choose your target country and click the green lookup button to view the results. eRank’s Free Plan allows you to search up to five (5) keywords per day.
At the top of the search results page, you’ll find an overview of valuable stats regarding the keyword you searched. The first section shows average monthly searches, clicks, and competition followed by a 15-month timeline of its performance and a search breakdown by country.
Scroll down to see the “Keyword Ideas” data table. This table displays terms related to the keyword along with extensive search data.
Want to copy one or more keywords to paste into a listing? Check the box to the left of a terms and click the floating “copy” button that appears at the bottom of the page. This saves the terms to your clipboard, separated by commas.
The remaining four tabs display the following information:
- Near-match terms
- An Etsy search results analysis of the top 100 listings found in Etsy for the keyword entered
- A detailed list of those top 100 listings
- Search data about the keyword from other popular marketplaces
Start a Keyword List
To stay organized, save keywords you like or wish to use to a Keyword List. Click the ⭐ next to any keyword on the “Keyword Ideas” or “Near Matches” tabs to add it to a list. Click the three (3) dots to view your keyword lists, add or remove keywords, delete an existing list, or create a new one.
For faster access to your keyword lists, use the floating green ⭐ button in the bottom-left corner of the page. You can even drag and drop terms into your list while browsing.
