eRank has a large and growing set of powerful tools to help you gain an edge in your Etsy journey. With all these tools at your disposal, you may not know where to begin. Fortunately, we are here to help.
Dashboard
Your eRank Dashboard is where you can see a lot of your data at a glance. If you want to quickly see where your store ranks globally in sales, you can view it quickly at the top of your Dashboard. The Dashboard will also display listing data like your total number of listings, value of inventory, missing tags, etc.
In addition to listing data, the Dashboard is where you can see Traffic Stats data (if you have it set up), eRank News with the latest blog posts, as well as other quick bits of useful information. Everything is displayed in widgets on the page. If you aren’t 100% sure what you currently want to achieve with eRank, the Dashboard can be a good starting point to find things that you may want to improve or fine-tune in your shop.
Keyword research
If you are interested in researching keywords to improve the visibility of your listings, start with eRank’s Keyword Tool. (You can also access it on the Main Menu under Tools > Keyword Tools.) Enter a keyword related to your product. eRank will analyze the top 100 listings found in Etsy search results for that keyword. It also shows you popular related keywords and relevant data to help you get some ideas for new keywords and their potential effectiveness.
Track competitors
If you are on any of eRank’s paid plans and are interested in keeping tabs on how your Competitor Sales are going, this is where you are going to want to be. (Find it on the Main Menu under Competition.) In this tool, you are able to add Etsy shops you want to track to a list. Here you will see daily sales over a rolling 7-day period, as well as total sales for that 7-day period, total sales overall, and shop age. Once you have shops added to your list, you will also see a graph at the top that shows sales over a 7-day period for each of the shops.
Top sellers
Paid-plan eRank members will be able to see the Top Sellers overall on Etsy, as well as shops with the most sales from the previous day. You can also filter these results by category, country, and the year that a shop opened. Use this tool to find exceptionally-well performing shops in your niche and then study them to help improve your own shop.
Trends
If you are looking to dive into the latest trends on Etsy, start with eRank’s Trend Buzz. (It’s under the Trends tab on the Main Menu.) This tool allows you to look at trending keywords on Etsy as well as on many other eCommerce sites and platforms like Google Shopping and Pinterest.
Here you can also see the most searched products, recipients, styles and materials. Use this resource to decide on the viability of a new product you may be working on, or as inspiration for products you haven’t even started yet.
Pricing
Pricing can be a difficult thing to dial in. Price your items too high and they may not sell. Price them too low and you run the risk of not making enough to cover costs, or maybe your items come off as low quality to potential buyers due to the price.
eRank’s Profit Calculator will help you get your items priced for profit so you can get paid for your hard work. Find it on the Main Menu under Tools > Other Tools. Just enter your data in the fields, and the calculator does all the math to let you know how much money goes into your pocket when an item sells. This is helpful in figuring out what adjustments you need to make to ensure that you are getting the profit you want from each of your products. You can also see how much profit is left over when you put items on sale. This is great for knowing how much of a discount you can offer without losing money.
Orders
The Delivery Status report show you the status of all your shipped packages in one spot. It lets you know if your package is currently in pre-transit, in transit, or delivered. Each line shows you the date, status, location, package value, carrier, and class of service used. Find this tool on the Main Menu under Shop.
