Tip #1: Clean Your Lens

This may seem like an obvious tip, but it is the most important—as well as the most overlooked—tip for shooting pictures with your smartphone. Before you start snapping photos, take a moment to clean the lens of your smartphone camera. Those fingerprints and smudges that have accumulated over time on the lens result in blurry or hazy images. By simply taking a quick minute and using a microfiber cloth or lens cleaning wipe to gently wipe away any dirt or debris, it ensures that you shoot crystal clear photos. Tip #2: Shoot in Landscape Mode

The tripod does not need to be an expensive option—just simply one that holds your camera steady and can be adjusted to your specific requirements. Tip #4: Set Focus Manually

Don’t leave focus to chance—take control of your smartphone camera’s focus settings to ensure that your products are perfectly sharp and in focus. Tap on the most important part of the image to set focus manually, guiding the camera to prioritize the focal point of your composition.

Tip #5: Adjust Exposure Before Capturing

Before taking a photo, take a moment to adjust the exposure settings on your smartphone camera to ensure optimal brightness and contrast—either manually or with a third-party application. Increasing the exposure helps to brighten up your photos and bring out more detail in your products, especially in low-light conditions, resulting in less editing work being required for your photos.
