Error Identification
The Spell Check feature seamlessly integrates into eRank’s platform, streamlining the process of managing your Etsy shop and ensuring that you can make quick edits to your listings as needed.
There are two ways to see if your listings contain spelling errors:
- From your eRank Dashboard, locate the Health Check widget. This shows you the number of potential spelling errors across your listings.
- Open a Listing Audit for any listing within your shop. This tool flags potential spelling issues and gives you options for how to either fix or ignore them.
But what if the word is spelled as it should be?
Safe List
eRank uses standard dictionaries for the spelling review. Some abbreviations and non-standard or “slang” terms may not be found and therefore, show as being misspelled. If the word is spelled correctly, click the Add to Safe List button to add the term(s) to your Safe List in eRank. The Safe List is also good for any terms that you may have “invented” as part of your shop’s branding or abbreviations and acronyms your listing tags use that the standard dictionaries do not recognize.
Click See Spelling Overview to review any flagged words and to view your Safe Lists.
If you add a word to your Safe List by accident or if you change your mind about a term being on the list, click Remove button next to the appropriate word within the Safe List tab.
Availability
The Spell Checker is available to all eRank users on all plan levels. No limitation exists as to the number of times that eRank can run a spell check on your Etsy listing tags.
