Good news! A lost sheep has returned to the fold!
Ranked 1st: “stickers,” up from #43

“Stickers” was your No. 3 Search of the Year in 2025. No idea what led it astray in February but it’s back on top this month. And so is “pokemon.” After ranking 12th on your Annual Top 20, it couldn’t even crack your Top 1000 in February.
Well, whatever the heck went on, it was at least brief. This month’s list of climbers is full of familiar faces. Let’s get to them.
Canada’s top Etsy searches climbing highest fastest
These 13 climbers are the keywords in this month’s Top 20 that weren’t in your last Top 20. We’ve listed them in order by their current rank, followed by their rank in February. This way you can see at a glance which ones have climbed from farthest down.
Ranked 1st: “stickers,” up from #43
2nd: “digital planner,” up from #37
4th: “necklace,” up from #34
5th: “tshirt,” up from #28
6th: “womens clothing,” up from #81
7th: “keychain,” up from #297
9th: “furniture,” up from #29
10th: “mens clothing,” up from #96
14th: “pokemon” (not in February’s Top 1000)
16th: “digital download,” up from #306
17th: “sewing patterns,” up from #64
19th: “3d print,” up from #830
20th: “3d printed,” up from #179
As mentioned, most of these are familiar faces, your Top 20 regulars resuming their rightful places. And most didn’t fall all that far in February. We’ve only got four here that weren’t at least in your Top 100 a month ago. One of the four, “keychain,” plunged to #297. That was unnerving; like stickers and pokemon, “keychain” made your Annual Top 20.
But the other three climbers are a different story. We ransacked your Annual Top 1000 for 2025; there is not one search with the word “digital.” Nor did any “3d” searches make the list. Which means these are 2026 rising trends. We can’t wait to dig in!
Ranked 16th: “digital download,” up from #306

Wow, see? The line chart above right shows that “digital download” is at a 15-mo high right now. With what looks like twice as much search volume as any of its previous peaks! And that gold badge shows it is still going strong with Canadian shoppers this week.
From having no “digital” searches in your Annual Top 1000, for March there are 11. Indeed, two are in the Top 20: this one, “digital download,” and 2nd-ranked “digital planner.” And these two also have the highest two March click-through rates (CTRs) in the Top 20. Which means they aren’t just trending; they’re selling!
Top Etsy searches and purchase intent
If you’re new, you might be wondering how we can tell what’s selling. Here’s a quick explainer.
On ecommerce sites, click-through rates (CTRs) reflect how many times shoppers clicked listings in their search results. Therefore, CTRs are an indicator of ‘purchase intent.’ These are people more likely searching with the intention to buy, as opposed to those just browsing.
So yes, you’ll want to keep up with Canada’s top Etsy keywords. But for insight into what’s selling best on Etsy now, look to their click-through rates. It’s why we end our trend reports with a Monthly CTR Roundup. You’ll learn which top-ranked searches have had the highest CTRs most recently.
First though, a quick look at that other pair of rising trends, “3d print” and “3d printed.” Since the latter has the higher CTR of the two, let’s do that one.
Ranked 20th: “3d printed,” up from #179

3D print-related searches have made your Top 20 before. In fact, this search, “3d printed,” ranked #14 last May and #19 in July. And as we check through past Top 1000 lists for 3D searches, we noticed something else of interest. Their monthly CTRs have been climbing higher too.
In May 2025, for example, #14-ranked “3d printed” had a monthly CTR of just 59% (markedly unenthused). But in July, its CTR climbed to 135%, and then this January, when it ranked #26, its CTR was 149%! Certainly, all this looks encouraging. And speaking of which…
Roundup! Canada’s top Etsy keywords with 135%+ CTRs now
Here for ideas of what to sell on Etsy? Then this is for you! It’s your insider access to which of this month’s 250 highest trending Etsy searches show the most purchase intent. Now, for these Roundups we draw our calculations exclusively from your most recent full month of data. Therefore, regardless of their 12-mo CTRs, these products should be what’s selling best on Etsy in Canada now.
Ranking #1-50
There are three qualifiers in your Top 20, starting with high flyer digital planner. Its monthly CTR is 150%, which is as high as they go. The other two are digital download and 3d printed. Moving on, at #22 is lamp, followed by #28 abaya, and then #30 vtuber model, our first unicorn.
#30 “vtuber model” – March CTR: 142%

We call these “unicorns” because it seems no one believes they exist on Etsy anymore. And yet somehow, lo and behold, in every Roundup we do find them. This is what to look for:
- High-ranked product
- History of good search volume
- CTR exceeds 100%
- Low competition
Stats just like the ones you see in the screenshot above. “Vtuber model” is the very model of a unicorn. Looking for a promising opportunity in a niche you could make your own? Provisioning Virtual YouTuber content creators is a good one. As it has been for Etsy US, UK, and Australia too!
And back on the Roundup, it’s followed by two more CTR high flyers: #43 ruby and #45 stray kids.
Ranked from #51-100
At #63 is dog with a 150% CTR for March. Then you have #65 spiderman, #68 shelf and #70 coasters. At #72-74, a trio: mandala, iran, kpop birthday invitation. Skip one and there’s a pair: garnet and wood. Skip two and at #80-82, another trio: gaming, custom pokemon card, scrunchies. The final two for this group are #86 journal and #94 bag.
Next, ranking #101-150
Straight out the gate here, we have a winner!
#101 “dice” – March CTR: 148%

“Dice” hits every metric for a unicorn!
Back at the Roundup, up next is #105 nightreign, then two more gemstone searches #111-112 labradorite and aquamarine. (We’ve already had #43 ruby and #76 garnet.) Next, #116 silver rings, followed by #121-122 workout planner and digital downloads.
And then more high flyers: #127 groomsman gifts, #130 keycaps (unicorn!), #135 nurse, #137 ammonite, #139 ev9. Next, a pair: #141-142 hoodies and fluorite. (Another gemstone, and its searches are spiking spectacularly right now.) Then we have #144 yarn, and this section wraps up with a trio: #146-148 runescape, signalis, and sexy.
Ranked from #151-200
And another gemstone chimes in: it’s #151 sapphire with 149%! We’ve never seen so many gemstones make any Roundup before. So, let’s take a quick peek at sapphire, see what we can see.
#151 “sapphire” – March CTR: 148%

This data does look unicorn-worthy. And we know colored gemstones have steadily gained in popularity in recent years. This won’t be news to those of you already in this niche. But for those of you looking to get into it, maybe start with something less expensive. Like labradorite.
#111 “labradorite” – March CTR: 139%

Three more “labradorite” searches are in this Top 1000. At #288: flashy labradorite aaa with a 147% CTR; #767 labradorite quality (145%); #769 labradorite bracelet (100%). By contrast, “sapphire” has just the one search. And labradorite was first discovered in Canada, so there’s that.
Moving on, next up on the Roundup is the pair at #171-172: hermitcraft and canva. Then you have three high flyers: #181 photocard, #192 crystal, and #195 wooden.
Finally, ranked #201-250
Leading off, we have #204 scene with a current CTR of 148%. Keyword Tool shows “scene” spiking to a 15-mo high right now. We’re not surprised. The early ’00s scene subculture has been making a comeback with GenZ. Now it’s the “Rawr-ing 20s:” emo lights, neon fashion, and absolutely oodles of accessories. Those of you here for ideas of what to sell on Etsy, this might be a fun niche. Low startup costs for materials, too!
Next up on the Roundup is #210 camera with 148%. We featured “camera” in your Roundup in last month’s trend report. We said then we’d need to see more months of good search volume before anointing it a unicorn. And here we have another month, and it’s another with exceptional purchase intent. Cameras continue to look promising – and so does #223 overalls.
#223 “overalls” – March CTR: 138%

Can’t argue with Vogue magazine or the Style section of the New York Times. Overalls are an established mainstream fashion trend these days – for all genders.
Another popular item is #227 bowl. “Bowl” searches are up 230%+ Year on Year and its current CTR is 147%. And so is #244 boho wedding dress. While reviewing keywords for this month’s Etsy Category Top 100 lists, we saw all the signs. Boho brides and bohemian-themed weddings are big this year.
Also trending: cafe curtains. (Unicorn alert!)
#245 “cafe curtains” – March CTR: 138%

Cafe curtains are another entry-level, budget-friendly product for those of you looking. Simple and quick to sew; inexpensive materials; packaging and shipping costs comparatively low. And cafe curtains are expected to continue to be popular.
Just two more qualifiers for this Roundup: #246 wedding card box and #248 woven blanket. And they are both high flyers.
We hope some of these leads prove to be profitable for you!
