How’s it going, gang? Hope you’re busy filling orders! We’ll try our best to keep this short. Might be hard, though. Because for the fourth month in a row, eBay has twice its typical Top 20 turnover. And for eBay, that is so unusual.
Of the marketplaces we cover here, eBay’s monthly Top 20 has always been the most stable. Etsy’s is the most volatile. It routinely has 12+ shopper searches that are new Month on Month. Amazon averages about five. Historically, eBay’s has been half that.
Until August, that is. Last month, it even had five climbers that were new Month on Month. For this month, it has four and one of them is a “screamer.” Our pet name for Top 20 searches that didn’t even make the previous month’s Top 1000. And for eBay, it’s quite an odd one.
Ranked 13th: “women men clothing,” screamer

That 14-mo flat line above right in the Search history line chart really is flat, too: zero searches. Then BAM: over a hundred thousand in a month.
Now, Etsy gets screamers all the time. On Amazon, it’s more occasional; usually, some Prime Video release gone viral. Even the latest in brand-new tech will get searches for a month+ ahead of launch. But eBay? We can’t even recall the last time eBay had a screamer.
And there’s something else weird about this one. In October’s Top 1000, there wasn’t a single eBay shopper search that had the word “women.” In November’s Top 1000, this is the only one. It’s also the only search with the word “clothing.”
What we’re saying here is that this is a singularly odd search for eBay, period. Let alone one in the Top 20; truly, it does seem to have screamed to the top out of nowhere. Will it disappear just as fast? We’ll report back next month.
Top eBay searches climbing highest fastest
In current rank order, their previous rank last, here are all four of eBay’s November climbers.
Ranked 12th: “macbook,” up from #23 in October
13th: “women men clothing,” screamer (didn’t crack October’s Top 1000)
19th: “3080,” up from #59
20th: “gpu,” up from #37
As we reported in August, we do know why there’s been such upheaval in eBay’s Top 20. It’s the abrupt departure of all the Nvidia graphics cards.
Since we first began covering eBay trends, at least two Nvidia models made every Top 20. eBay’s Annual Top 20 had three. August’s Top 20 was the first that had none. So, “3080” popping back up this month was almost like seeing a ghost.
Ranked 19th: “3080,” up from #59

This was the highest-ranked of the Nvidia models in last year’s Annual eBay Top 20 list. In fact, it had two entries: “rtx 3080” and “3080;” (“rtx 3070” ranked #20.) Whatever the heck knocked these out in August through October on eBay, they seem on the upswing. Last month’s highest-ranked Nvidia product was the “4090” at #29. Now, there’s this one in the Top 20 and four more in the Top 30.
Ranked 20th: “gpu,” up from #37

Some claim that demand on the secondhand market for GPUs is cooling. Others predict retail price hikes in 2026 will make used GPUs a smart buy. We’re just spectators here, watching from the sidelines. When searches drop below 50,000/mo, we’ll let you know. What we can see right now though is that none of these are showing much current purchase intent.
Tip: eBay trending searches and purchase intent
For those of you who are new to selling online, this will be a useful tip.
On ecommerce sites, click-through rates (CTRs) reflect how many times shoppers clicked individual listings in their search results. Therefore, CTRs are an indicator of ‘purchase intent.’ That is, customers who are more likely there to buy, as opposed to the people just browsing.
So yes, it’s smart to keep up with the top eBay searches. But for insight into what’s selling best on eBay now, look to their click-through rates. It’s why we end all our trend reports with a Monthly CTR Roundup.
Roundup! eBay trending searches with 70%+ CTRs now
Here looking for ideas of what to sell on eBay? Then this is for you! It’s your insider access to which of eBay’s Top 500 keywords have had the highest CTRs most recently. For these Roundups, we draw our calculations exclusively from the most recent full month of data. So, regardless of their 12-mo CTRs, these products should be what’s selling best on eBay now.
First, our usual word to the wise. Some of these items violate eBay’s terms of use or are otherwise prohibited. And some are just tricky. Most trademarked products are okay to resell there but some listings may need to comply with eBay guidelines. Or you might have to jump through extra hoops (e.g., the Authenticity Guarantee gauntlet). So, especially if you’re new to a niche, look before you leap.
Ranking #1-100
Note: For readability, we’ll only shout out individual CTRs of 100% and up. But all these qualifiers will have at least 70% for the month. And as you’ll see, eBay CTRs even that high are exceptional. Certainly, any here that interest you should be worth adding to a Keyword List for further research.
For Amazon and eBay, it’s common to have no qualifiers in their Top 20. Amazon had none this month. And for the past two months, eBay had only one; both months, it was “steal a brainrot.” But this month, eBay has two: #14 gaming laptop and #18 3ds.
Moving on to the rest of the Top 100, up next are two highflyers in a row! Both iPhones, they are #24 iphone 15 with 131% for the month, and #27 iphone 14 pro max with 143%. Outstanding purchase intent!
Next is qualifier #38 ps vita, and at #41 we have steal a brainrot. After two months in the Top 20, it has dropped in rank but now it’s got a CTR of 150%! We cannot overstate how miraculous that CTR is for eBay.
#41: “steal a brainrot;” November CTR: 150%

This video game was released by Roblox in May. In just a month, “steal a brainrot” shot to #240 on eBay with a CTR of 149%. Searches reached their peak in September; it ranked 18th for two months in a row. And now it’s reached peak click-through rate; 150% is as high as these go.
Returning to the Roundup, the next qualifier is #47 xbox 360. At #56 we have camera with a November CTR of 137%. Cameras and camera gear make every eBay Roundup. Next: #72 ddr5 ram 32gb, #75 samsung, #84 roblox account, #88 iphone 13 pro max, #90 airpods pro 2. And the last in this Top 100 is #97 ps4 with 150%.
Ranked from #101-200
First off here is #102 iphone 16, and then at #115, another highflyer, Nintendo’s golden oldie wii u.
#115 “wii u;” November CTR 141%

Its current monthly CTR is nearly triple its Avg. CTR. For October, it had 70%. Maybe sales are up for the holidays?
Meanwhile, back on the Roundup, next up is #142 sony a7 iii, then christmas with 135%. Just three more: #164 lenovo thinkpad, #188 arc raiders and #200 sony cybershot.
Next, ranking #201-300
Skimpy pickings! The first qualifier here isn’t until #235 sony wh1000xm5. Then we have this past summer’s phenom, #241 grow a garden. Skip just one and there’s #243 crt tv, then #258 new nintendo 3ds xl. At #265 is pokemon psa 10 and only two more: #281 ps1 and #293 fortnite account.
Ranked from #301-400
Another Pokemon search is next, #304 psa 10 pokemon. Here for ideas of what to sell on eBay? Look into Pokemon collectibles!
Up next is #314 nintendo ds lite followed by, remarkably enough, two in a row with November CTRs of 150%! They are #316-317 drone and anime vanguards. Given that the latter is Roblox (i.e., reportedly off limits to sell), let’s stick to “drone.”
#316 “drone;” November CTR 150%

Huh: just a month ago, “drone” ranked down at #584 with a monthly CTR of 52%. Might it might be performing so much better now thanks to Christmas shoppers? That thought led us to check last year’s top eBay searches for November. “Drone” ranked #323 but had an CTR of 29%.
Just to be thorough, we checked last December and then March and May, its other peak-search months. CTRs were abysmal. All in all, we aren’t wild about this one.
So, back to the hunt! Next up is #325 carhartt jacket, then #329 s22, #339 printer (with 127%) and #351 auto. Then we have box.
#352 “box;” November CTR 150%

“Box” had 150% in October, too. While we talked about it in that Roundup, we didn’t choose to feature it. Because how can we know what type of box it is that shoppers are so eager to buy? If it keeps up like this though, it might be worth figuring out!
Up next are qualifiers #354 chrome hearts, #356 ds lite and #364 golf. Then we have #387 skylanders, #392 playstation 2, and #393 phantasmal flames charizard. And then at #396-397, another pair of qualifiers, switch oled and 2080 ti.
Finally, ranking #401-500
Here, we’re off like a shot!
#407 “tamagotchi;” November CTR 150%

Well, if these are being snatched up as gifts, that wasn’t so a year ago in November. Back then, “tamagotchi” ranked #507 and had a CTR for the month of just 18%. That December wasn’t much better. Nor was June, when it was at its second-highest 15-mo peak search-wise.
And speaking of “peak,” this toy’s peak popularity was in 1997! They were huge; kids were obsessed. Tamagotchis are still in production. And now they are trending again, especially in the US and UK; the first-ever UK store opened in 2024. We bet one driver is the niche but global craze for all things Kawaii cute and nostalgic.
Moving on, the next Roundup qualifier is #409 seiko. It’s followed by #411 xbox controller, #416 dsi and #419 ford. “Ford” has 131% for the month. Then at #422 there is rrl and at #438, my little pony. After those though, there are no more until #468 leica, #476 yeezy and #479 chainsaw man.
Just four more for this month. They are #489 iphone 4, #491 rtx 4070 super, #495 chevrolet (121%) and #500 rgh xbox 360 with 131%. By the way, that last one is the third “xbox” search to make the Roundup. October’s had three as well. So, for those of you here for ideas of what to sell on eBay, xboxes appear worth researching.
We hope some of these do prove to be profitable leads for you. And that what you’ve already got is selling like hotcakes!
